FAQ

When is a credit card required?

A credit card is required to process more than 1000 transactions per day. Attempts to process transactions beyond that limit in a single day will be denied. To add a credit card to your account simply Sign In, and then select “Billing”.

What is considered a transaction?

A transaction is any API call that results in a lookup or processing of data. Every API call will consume at least 1 transaction. Certain APIs, or particular interactions, may consume additional transactions depending on their complexity. For example, batch queries will consume at least as many transactions as there are lookup items submitted. Data appends will consume additional transactions. Current and past usage for your account is reported under Usage.
